Wow this is so humbling to all of us, we salute all those who served and grieve for the many that lost their lives in trying to defend what was not unrealistically called the free world.

Thanks so much to Navy Lookout (or more appropriately its old name Save the Royal Navy, since I think it still very much needs saving), you are doing a great job and I hope many more than us RN enthusiasts read it.

Thanks again

John

Thank you and particularly so for highlighting a not so well known engagement involving smaller warships, the crews of which were just as brave, dutiful and precious as the those involved in the major battles which we all know about.

Wonderful post, great reading, so full of admiration for the RN, and all that they stand for then, and today. Everyday is Remembrance Day. Thank you Navy Lookout, aka Save the Royal Navy.

Supportive Bloke

A beautiful and respectful article on eternal patrol.

We respect them all.

Thanks for taking the time to put together this tribute. We should never forget them.
